The history of Zakłady Porcelany Stołowa “Lubiana” S.A.

Lubiana started its activity on September 1, 1969 as a one-plant enterprise. Over 20 years later – on March 31, 1992 – the company was transformed into a sole shareholder company of the Treasury, and in 1995 the shares of the Company were contributed by the State Treasury to investment funds. September 17, 2002 majority stake of Lubiana S.A. was sold to Zakłady Przemysłu Jedwabniczych Wistil S.A., which currently holds 90.7% of shares. In the years 2003-2012 Lubiana S.A. acquired 99% of the share capital of Porcelana Chodzież S.A. and 86% of shares in Zakłady Porcelany Ćmielów Sp. z o.o., which makes it the largest porcelain group in Europe. Today, the factory is one of the leaders of the global porcelain industry, both in terms of production potential, offer, technical capabilities, and, equally important, experience and commitment of the crew.
